Security guards must be 18 years of age and satisfy the following requirements:
- U.S. citizen / resident alien
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- State requirements (fingerprints / background check)
- 16 hours of training
Special police candidates must be 21 years of age and pass an extensive background investigation. Other requirements include:
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- NC driver's license
- Basic law enforcement training program
- Urine analysis screening
- Psychological test*
- Polygraph test*
*Lateral transfers are not required to undergo polygraph or psychological tests.
Our office accepts applications M-F from 9am to 5pm.
